An exciting Regional Marketing Manager job opportunity has just been made available at a reputable consumer goods company. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will be responsible for brand building strategies, as well as product and packaging innovation projects. You will also manage the A&P budget and work with respective markets to localise marketing calendars and content as well as to steer regional marketing initiative.

About the Regional Marketing Manager Role:
Reporting into the VP Marketing, the successful candidate will work closely with HQ to define and develop marketing materials and content that is relevant for the Asia business. You will work closely with the Sales team to drive sales and profitability objectives and to gain market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the local media strategy offline and online (including Social Media) based on a consumer-centric and ROI mindset
• Develops new local impactful communication campaign in coordination with local agencies and major regional markets modernising brand image and increasing brand engagement. Both with consumer and trade alike, as well as local PR
• Responsible for local Digital communication assets development in coordination with the communication agency and online platforms, deploying the brand online, tracking the results to capture learnings, and implementing rapid change
• Contributes to local consumer-centric portfolio strategy based on market analysis via Nielsen and deep consumer trend assessment and prioritisation
• Coordinates local initiatives aiming to increase the brand’s presence in new channels
• Ensures all activity is communicated to the various sales forces and people that touch our business so that this can be communicated on to distributors
• Continuously monitors market performances and competitors, in collaboration with partners
• Challenges and validates POS promotion ideas in collaboration with local partners
• Coordinates for the required A&P budget in annual operating plans
• Ensures a high level in execution (respect of brand guidelines/premium standard) in every single activity, challenging partners and agencies when necessary
• Lead innovation project on packaging like festive pack
• Support the global team on specific product innovations
• Support the Asia Marketing VP on the Asia marketing campaigns, creating the POSM, KV, films, playbooks and execution plan creation and cascade
• Leading the promotion, PR and event of our celebrity together with the agencies and markets
• Other Asia wide initiatives that can be new to the business

To be successful in this Regional Marketing Manager role, you will need to be a dynamic and creative marketer with prior experience in driving successful campaigns.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management or Marketing
• At least five years' marketing experience in a FMCG company
• Strong communication skills/ability to create engaging communications
• Consumer-centric mindset
• Structured project management/rigorous/methodical/reliable
• Budget management
• Agency briefings as well as managing an agency
• Open to change and willing to suggest and implement – agile to change in work scope
• Acceptance of other cultures/ways of working
• Willing to listen and learn

• Regional experience
