About the Regional Commercial Marketing Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will expand the organisation's footprint of regional consumer brands, nourish the growth and development of local brands and look ahead for new opportunities to expand the future portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio, you will play an important role in growing the current and future portfolio in your assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the brand development and planning process for brands at a regional level
- Develop and execute a robust regional brand and portfolio strategy for assigned brands
- Support and endorse digital and media campaigns in markets
- Collaborate with the business development team to shape the future portfolio, establish product development priorities and identify new partnership/licensing opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues including sales, medical, regulatory, finance, supply chain, business development and alliance management on all aspects of brand management, including new product development and launch preparation
- Develop regional marketing toolkits and assets, both traditional and digital, aligned to brand strategy and in consultation with the markets
- Recommend and support country marketing mix based on in-depth knowledge of the various country market landscapes
- Set relevant KPIs and monitor brand performance to achieve a healthy financial and competitive market outlook, taking early corrective action where needed
- Plan and monitor regional assigned A&M budget to ensure maximum impact
- Support markets in shopper marketing activities for both online/offline channels
- Provide insights and support to markets in the development of their e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with the business intelligence team to develop in-depth market analysis to optimise brand performance
- Utilise various information sources to closely monitor the competitive landscape in order to optimise brand performance
- Proactively identify, analyse, and follow up on specific business/launch opportunities
- Collaborate with the NPD team to identify and assess new product initiatives to grow and expand the portfolio
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the market, competitive, customer landscapes specific to the brands and therapeutic areas of focus
- Provide essential market data, analysis, and business cases necessary to support business development opportunities along key project gates
To succeed in the Regional Commercial Marketing Manager role, you will be a seasoned consumer marketer with significant exposure to sales and shopper marketing in a retail/e-commerce setting, ideally with experience in a relevant category such as vitamins, supplements or nutrition.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Business and Marketing
- Minimum of eight years' experience in consumer and digital marketing, and preferably in functional health-related FMCG (vitamins, supplements, nutrition)
- Experience marketing to active agers (40s - 60s) is an advantage
- Experience working across diverse countries/markets
- Track record of portfolio building, growing brands and developing successful campaigns
- Relevant omnichannel experience including across pharmacy, retail, e-commerce, consumer, physician channels
- Experience with shaping the consumer experience
- Sound strategic thinking and planning skills
- Hands-on with execution and getting things done
- Ability to see the big picture but also to go into the details
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Agile, adaptable, with strong tenacity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent collaborator and communicator, comfortable with working and leading cross-functional teams across multiple diverse languages and cultures
- Ability to think outside-in to bring in new ideas to the organisation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
