Consumer Insights Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consumer Insights Manager to join their rapidly expanding APAC business. This is an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the growth of the business in multiple countries by providing innovative, high-quality products and developing marketing plans to maximise their potential for further business growth. The successful candidate will be based in Singapore, working in a global, agile, dynamic, and flat environment.

What you'll do:

As a Consumer Insights Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving our client's global business. You will be responsible for all phases of both validations and exploratory quantitative and qualitative research. You will also play a key role in budget control and monitoring.

  • Plan holistic market research based on business needs to achieve annual sales targets
  • Design each research project by localising global-common protocols into each market
  • Execute surveys, conduct in-depth and focus group interviews
  • Perform quantitative data aggregation at a holistic level, qualitative analysis at conscious/subconscious levels
  • Write reports with powerful story lines supported by convincing data/insights
  • Provide actionable, strategic recommendations for next steps
  • Monitor costs to ensure annual CI spending fits within annual CI budget

What you bring:

The ideal Consumer Insights Manager brings a wealth of experience in hands-on marketing research. You have a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research fields. Your excellent analytical skills enable you to write clear, logical reports and interpret insights from multiple projects. Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. A bachelor's degree in psychology/sociology/anthropology/foreign studies or a relevant discipline is required.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in hands-on marketing research including agency side experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology/sociology/anthropology/foreign studies or relevant discipline
  • Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research in both validation/exploratory fields
  • Excellent analytical skill; crisp, logical report writing, and integral insight interpretation across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in timely manner
