Head, Conference Producer

Work for Constellar, one of Asia's fastest growing and most renowned MICE and events conglomerates. Known in the region for its quality service and award winning events, we are currently recruiting for a Head, Conference Producer to join the team.

Reporting to the SVP for MICE, you will be responsible for curating and developing content for a wide range of industries.

Key responsibilities:

• In-depth industry research to outline a commercially successful conference program and ongoing digital content opportunities
• Research on industry trends, copywriting and conceptualizing content with team members and professionals to get market input for content writing
• Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant market stakeholders from technology/service providers, and government officials
• Build and maintain relationship with advisory committees, recruiting and managing high profile speakers, performing effective communication with content partners, advisory committee, speakers’ bureau
• Speaker identification and acquisition of both technical and strategic (including c-suite) industry influencers and business leaders
• Overseeing technical conference call for papers campaigns and managing the submissions, review and evaluation processes
• Take part in regular internal project meetings to ensure effective communications within the team and project timelines are properly managed

The successful candidate has strong content and writing skills and is passionate about the travel space.

Key attributes:

• A Degree in Marketing/Journalism
• At least 6 years of integrated content experience, preferably from within the events and MICE space
• Experience in producing and managing integrated event campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and brand preferences (in-person and digital conferences)
• Commercial and customer-focused mindset, and an eye to translate market requirements into a well-written program
• Propose new event concepts through research, development and evaluation of commercially driven topics
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to optimise overall event performance
