Our client is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing & Communications to drive the marketing and communications strategy across all areas of the school. This role will be instrumental in branding and positioning the school. The successful candidate will develop long-term strategic goals, foster collaborative relationships both within and outside of the school, and showcase the school as a world-class institution to the local and international community.

As Head of Marketing & Communications, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our client's prestigious international school. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering collaboration across departments, and driving innovative marketing strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a competitive edge in an increasingly challenging market. You will also contribute significantly to crisis management, ensuring effective communication across various media platforms.

  • Provide innovative leadership in creating a marketing, branding and communication strategy, including developing long-term goals to optimise the positioning of the school in an increasingly competitive market
  • Lead the Marketing and Communications team to ensure a cohesive approach to external marketing and internal communications using an omnichannel approach
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to create streamlined marketing programmes to support all areas of the school
  • Understand industry best practices and emerging strategies that will keep marketing and communications up-to-date
  • Develop new creative, innovative approaches in applying the school’s messages
  • Be a member of the crisis management team, managing response to situations across multiple media to both internal and external community as appropriate

The ideal candidate for this Head of Marketing & Communications role brings extensive experience in brand management and creative marketing strategy development. You are proficient in digital marketing, SEO, data-driven strategies, CRM systems, databases, and marketing automation. Your exceptional leadership skills enable you to inspire cross-functional teams towards a unified direction. With strong project management skills, you are adept at driving cross-functional projects to successful completion. Your excellent people management skills will be crucial in leading the Marketing and Communications team.

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in managing brands and developing creative marketing strategies for both offline and online mediums/channels
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and online/offline marketing integration, accompanied by SEO knowledge for sustainable results
  • Experience in data-driven strategies incorporating ROI and metric-driven models, CRM systems, databases and marketing automation
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to inspire cross-functional groups towards unified direction
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record in driving cross-functional projects
  • Excellent people management skills with experience effectively managing a Marketing and Communications team
