Legal Counsel, APAC

Our client is a globally recognised company with iconic brands that are loved by generations around the world. They are currently seeking a Legal Counsel, APAC with a focus on Korea and Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for all legal activities in these regions, including food law support, regulatory compliance, and advising on marketing activities.

What you'll do:

As the Legal Counsel, APAC, your role will be multifaceted and integral to the success of our client's operations in this area.

• You will lead all legal activities for Korea and Japan while also providing food law support for Indonesia and Thailand.
• Your ability to partner with various teams to offer practical solutions will be key in this role.
• You will advise on a range of marketing activities and oversee important compliance matters.
• You will manage corporate governance matters ensuring smooth operation of the business.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Legal Counsel, APAC position brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.

• Minimally 8 years of PQE and have worked in private practice or in-house roles
• Experience in an FMCG/food industry will be an advantage
• Ability to work across different markets within the APAC region sets you apart from others
• Strong sense of accountability, commitment to deadlines, and advanced MS Office skills
