An exciting Legal Counsel job has just become available at one of the leading global providers of smart energy solutions. This is a role that is based in Singapore, where the Singapore company is an overseas international headquarters of a domestic Fortune 100 company.
About the Legal Counsel Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing business contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the daily legal affairs of the company, providing legal advice and solutions for business management and business development
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, sort out and standardise contractual business texts
- Participate in the legal support and guarantee work of overseas investment or cooperation projects
- Be responsible for training business personnel on legal knowledge and receiving consultation from business departments
- Participate in the construction of business risk prevention and control system and project-based work, and complete the work tasks assigned by the team
To succeed in this Legal Counsel role, you will need be be comfortable in a sole contributor role.
Key Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree or above in a law-related discipline
- Possesses a professional qualification bar in Singapore
- Proficient in English as a working language (verbal and in writing), Mandarin proficiency is preferred as you will need to deal with stakeholders in China
- At lease three to five years of prior experience in legal work in MNC or experience in law firms
