VP, Legal Documentation Senior Counsel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal professional to join a leading global markets business as a VP, Legal Documentation Senior Counsel. You will be reporting to the Head of Legal and will be part of the legal team.

What you'll do:

As a VP, Legal Documentation Senior Counsel, your role will be integral in supporting the growth of our client's Global Markets business.

• Preparing, negotiating and executing various master trading agreements with both corporate and institutional clients.
• Your keen eye for detail will be essential when reviewing and analysing legal documentation.
• You will also advise on close out netting and collateral enforceability legal opinions.
• Ensure robust legal risk control and adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide training and legal knowledge management to junior team members.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the VP, Legal Documentation Senior Counsel position is a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of Master Documentation negotiation experience or global markets experience.

• Experience with specific close-out netting analysis for derivatives and securities financing transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and legal analytic skills with strong knowledge and experience in Master Documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
