What you'll do:
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Engineering and Deep Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of regional teams by identifying and engaging top-tier talent for highly specialised roles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with technical leaders to define hiring needs, conducting thorough sourcing activities across multiple countries, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact through to successful placement. You will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with candidates and stakeholders alike while providing valuable market intelligence that supports strategic decision-making. Success in this role requires a commitment to delivering outstanding candidate experiences, maintaining dependable communication channels within your network, and consistently demonstrating empathy throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for specialised roles including equipment testing engineers, product/application engineers, service/field engineers, technical product sales professionals, and deep-tech analysts within hardware-driven domains.
- Partner closely with engineering, product management, and technical stakeholders to deeply understand role requirements and talent trade-offs for each vacancy.
- Conduct hands-on sourcing activities using direct approaches to identify high-potential candidates across Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
- Screen candidates through detailed technical conversations to assess suitability for advanced engineering and research-led positions.
- Build and maintain regional talent pipelines by nurturing relationships with potential candidates and industry networks.
- Manage offer negotiations, compensation alignment, and candidate closure processes in competitive technical markets.
- Navigate diverse hiring dynamics across Southeast Asia and Taiwan by adapting recruitment strategies to local market conditions.
- Work selectively with external vendors when necessary but maintain a strong preference for direct sourcing methods.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring feasibility to inform business decisions.
- Support the continuous improvement of recruitment processes by sharing best practices with colleagues and participating in team training sessions.

- Demonstrated experience recruiting industrial or engineering talent such as equipment engineers, hardware specialists, manufacturing experts, or service engineers within complex environments.
- Direct exposure to hiring across at least three of the following markets: Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia; showcasing your ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts.
- Comfort engaging with deep-tech or advanced R&D talent—ideally within hardware-driven sectors like semiconductor or research-led organisations—through credible technical discussions.
- A hands-on recruiter mindset characterised by willingness to personally source candidates, conduct interviews, and close roles efficiently without relying solely on external vendors.
- Strong technical curiosity enabling you to connect meaningfully with engineers and other subject matter experts during the recruitment process.
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment production, industrial automation or advanced R&D organisations which enhances your understanding of niche talent pools.
- Exposure to quantum computing projects or research-heavy engineering teams where cutting-edge technologies are developed.
- Experience working within fast-evolving or ambiguous environments requiring adaptability and resilience under changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools or market analysis techniques relevant to technical hiring.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders while maintaining inclusive communication practices.
