What you'll do:

As a Payroll Specialist based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with managing critical aspects of the organisation’s HRIS systems while supporting payroll duties across multiple regions.

  • Administer and automate core HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with HRIS systems.
  • Covering APAC (Singapore & Australia) & Atlantic (US, Germany, Vancouver)
  • Liaise effectively with HRIS vendors to identify system issues promptly and facilitate timely resolutions for uninterrupted operations.
  • Communicate system updates and changes clearly to both the HR team and employees, fostering understanding and smooth transitions.
  • Develop, maintain, and document robust HRIS processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all activities.
  • Assist in evaluating HRIS platforms for potential improvements and enhancements that drive process efficiency within the department.
  • Educate the HR team through tailored trainings or manuals on effective utilisation of the HRIS system to maximise its benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in both HRIS platforms and personal files stored in SharePoint, upholding data integrity at all times.
  • Generate regular HR metrics reports as well as ad hoc reports upon request to support informed decision-making within the business.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including HRBP, Finance teams, and payroll vendors, to verify payroll entries, statutory submissions, tax filings, and labour-related surveys for assigned countries.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports meticulously to identify discrepancies, resolve issues swiftly, and ensure accurate transmission of payroll data.

What you bring:

To excel as a Payroll Specialist, your proven experience should include substantial exposure to both HRIS management and regional payroll administration.

  • Possess a minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management from a recognised institution.
  • Have experience managing at least two payroll regions covering either Singapore, Australia or Germany
  • Demonstrate at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing HRIS systems and payroll processes within complex organisational structures.
  • Show proficiency with major HRIS platforms such as ADP, Qualtrics, Percipio or LinkedIn Learning solutions; experience with other systems is highly valued.
  • Exhibit excellent organisational skills combined with effective time management abilities that enable you to meet tight deadlines while handling cyclical payroll tasks efficiently.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail alongside diligence in maintaining data accuracy across all records and reports generated.
  • Work collaboratively within diverse teams but also demonstrate reliability when working independently on assigned projects or tasks.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously by employing sound judgement in task prioritisation without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Support internal audits or tax agent requests confidently by providing relevant documentation pertaining to payroll or compensation initiatives.
