A professional IT firm is seeking an experienced candidate for an L&D Assistant Manager, APAC (Three-year Contract) job. About the L&D Assistant Manager, APAC (Three-year Contract) Role:
Your key responsibility will be to plan, execute, evaluate and analyse all L&D initiatives across APAC in support of the business's people strategy and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall training and development curriculum, and training resources
- Conduct and design global training workshops, courses, and career plans and lead the design of talent development initiatives across global offices
- Maintain the budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants, and assists with the development of the Training budget as required
- Support the development of new joiners through onboarding, training and coaching
- Collect, analyse and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g. succession planning)
- Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning
- Identify performance gaps and work with managers to develop and implement appropriate training to improve performance
- Drive brand values and philosophy in all training and development activities
- Be involved in any ad hoc duties or projects assigned
To succeed in this L&D Assistant Manager, APAC (Three-year contract) role, you must have the ability to perform strategic L&D consulting to the divisions, offering stakeholders sound, credible and viable advice or solution through strategic engagements.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified bachelor's degree with a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work directly with the senior management and manage within a matrix organisation
- Strong communication skills and relationship building capabilities
- Good understanding of employment regulations in Singapore
- A team player, self-motivated and independent, thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and LMS system
