Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end HR operations across the hire-to-retire employment life cycle for various business and department units. As the main point of contact, you will be responsible for providing guidance on HR inquiries, policies, and procedures.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Advisor, your role will be pivotal in managing the entire spectrum of HR operations. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth recruitment, preboarding, onboarding, performance management, training, employment changes, and offboarding processes. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be utilised as you assist employees with various HR transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining up-to-date workforce data in the HRIS system. Your commitment to continuous improvement will shine through as you participate in initiatives aimed at simplifying HR processes and enhancing service quality.
- Manage end-to-end operational activities of recruitment, preboarding and onboarding, performance management and training, employment changes and offboarding processes.
- Assist employees with HR transactions such as benefits enrolment, payroll inquiries, and leave management.
- Ensure timely and accurate HRIS updates on workforce/ employee data.
- Provide guidance, support and proactive follow-up on HR programs and processes.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in Singapore.
- Collaborate with HR community and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to HR service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of HR shared services back-office operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for effective simplification of HR processes.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Advisor role brings a wealth of experience in HR operations and shared services. With a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in managing HR operations and have a strong understanding of labour laws, HR best practices, policies and procedures. Your customer-oriented approach, coupled with your excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, make you an effective leader. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications will be essential in this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in HR operations and shared services.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role managing HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, policies and procedures.
- Customer-oriented with strong communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
- Good leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
