Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the HR department, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager, your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team. You will be responsible for identifying appropriate external sources for candidates at all levels within the organisation. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in keeping track of open positions, conducting online searches for potential candidates, providing advice to hiring managers on recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also liaise with other HR teams to ensure competitiveness in compensation philosophy.

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships
  • Understand how risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Ensure effective and efficient operations of respective areas in accordance with company values and code of conduct
  • Implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates the team
  • Lead the coordination and execution of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
  • Maintain awareness of emerging HR trends and best practices

What you bring:

As a Human Resources Manager, you bring a wealth of experience from your previous roles. With at least 8 years of Human Resources work experience, preferably in the banking industry, you have developed an in-depth understanding of HR policies and practices including compensation and benefit programs. Your strong knowledge of employment/labour laws ensures that you can effectively respond to enquiries. Your excellent interpersonal skills coupled with well-developed written and oral communication skills enable you to effectively deal with employees' queries. Your flexibility, good organisational skills, and strong knowledge in MS Office make you an ideal candidate for this role.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and key support functions, contributing to their success by building and maintaining a capable workforce committed to delivering strategic objectives.

  • In-depth understanding of Human Resources policies and practices
  • Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and good organisational skills to deal with multiple demands and changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. SuccessFactors) will be a plus
