This role offers an exciting opportunity to support HR operations, including vendor management, compliance, employee relations, and onboarding & offboarding processes. The successful candidate will form strong partnerships with the HRBP, HR Generalist and HR Operations Regional/Central team.

What you'll do:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's HR operations. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of HR tasks such as vendor management, compliance, employee relations, onboarding & offboarding. You will be instrumental in forming strong partnerships with the HRBP, HR Generalist and HR Operations Regional/Central team. Your role will involve overseeing payroll operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also coordinate with HR vendors while monitoring their performance. Your commitment to compliance will ensure adherence to local statutory requirements and company policies.

  • Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate with HR vendors, monitor performance and manage contracts & POs
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding process, orientation, document collection from employees and manage & update employee physical P-Files
  • Support employee offboarding processes including exit meetings and necessary documentation
  • Act as the Local HR compliance champion conducting audits and trainings as needed
  • Update & maintain local employee handbook
  • Support the HR Line with administrative tasks related to hiring, exit, mobility, benefit, and HR letter generation

What you bring:

The ideal Payroll Specialist brings a wealth of experience in HR operations, payroll or vendor management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR operations, payroll or vendor management
  • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
  • Detail-oriented nature with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
