An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Assistant Manager to join our HR Shared Services Centre (HRSS) team. This role is pivotal in supporting the recruitment and HR functions of our client's organisation, with a focus on developing strategies to meet demands and enhance the efficiency of HRSS services. Based in Singapore, this role is a team lead position with an APAC remit. The successful candidate will be part of a leading data centre company that specialises in providing digital, cloud, and security services to clients across various industries.

  • Lead and manage the HRSS team in providing support for lateral recruitment and HR functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall delivery efficiency of HRSS services.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager for our HR Shared Services Centre, you will play a key role in shaping our organisation's future. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring they provide top-notch support for our recruitment and HR functions. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in developing strategies to enhance our service delivery efficiency. You'll also have ample opportunities to showcase your problem-solving skills by tackling complex issues head-on. Your ability to align with senior management's strategic direction will be vital, as will your knack for building strong relationships at all levels within our organisation.

  • Leading and managing the HRSS team in providing support for lateral recruitment and HR functions.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall delivery efficiency of HRSS services.
  • Analysing and solving moderately complex problems, creating new solutions and adapting existing methods and procedures as needed.
  • End to end payroll experience is critical.
  • Understanding and aligning with the strategic direction set by senior management.
  • Interacting with direct supervisor, peers, and/or management levels at clients and within the organisation.
  • Providing guidance and support in determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Making decisions that impact the team and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Manager role brings a wealth of experience from previous roles within Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS). With strong analytical skills, you are adept at interpreting data effectively, and your proficiency in HR analytics enables you to make data-driven decisions. Your quick learning agility allows you to adapt swiftly to evolving technologies and processes. Your excellent collaboration skills ensure that you work well with others, while your superb interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships.

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in managing end to end payroll with accuracy.
  • Quick learning agility to adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to work well with others.
  • Superb interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships.
