Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Country HR Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement, execute and oversee HR programs and practices. The successful candidate will be part of a regional HR team, reporting to a cluster HR leader. This role requires a dependable individual with strong interpersonal skills who can navigate challenging situations and drive change within the organisation.

What you'll do:

As the Country Human Resources Manager, your role will be pivotal in implementing and executing HR programs and practices. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure service deliverables are met while adhering to all KPI’s, SLAs, Compliance, Legal, and Labour regulations. Your ability to apply HR policies fairly and consistently will be crucial in maintaining the company's core values. You will also be responsible for managing team performance including hiring, retention and providing development opportunities.

  • Apply HR policies and employee programs fairly and consistently
  • Collaborate with Strategic HR Business Partners of the Businesses and Center of Excellence teams
  • Address concerns of a diverse scope
  • Ensure quality of problem/resolution responses and investigations
  • Stay current on employment and labour practices
  • Manage team performance, hiring, retention, staffing levels
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you bring:

The ideal match for the Country Human Resources Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the field. With 12-15 years of experience under your belt, you have demonstrated your ability to lead teams effectively. Your resilience allows you to navigate challenging situations with ease. You are comfortable using software applications relating to human resources such as case management systems and Workday along with the suite of Microsoft Office products. Your excellent communication skills enable you to connect with individuals at all levels within the organisation.

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 12-15 years of experience including leading team
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Resilience in navigating challenging or difficult situations
  • Competence in software applications relating to human resources such as case management systems and Workday along with the suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills
