Regional HR Business Partner & TA Lead

As the Regional HR Business Partner and TA lead you will have a highly strategic role which is pivotal for the business growth. You will be partnering with business leaders across the APAC region to develop and execute Talent Acquisition and HR programs to identify, hire and develop the best people for the business.

As a Regional HR Business Partner & TA Lead, you will be responsible for both attracting top talent and ensuring their continued growth within the company. Your ability to understand business needs, coupled with your expertise in talent acquisition, will enable you to build strong teams that drive success. You will also play a crucial role in fostering an environment where employees feel valued and appreciated. Your commitment to compliance and continuous improvement will ensure that our client remains an employer of choice.

Your role will involve:

  • Partnering with business leaders across APAC to understand their talent needs and develop comprehensive talent acquisition plans.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates across various channels.
  • Manage the recruitment process from requisition intake to offer negotiation and on-boarding.
  • Champion employee engagement activities and ensure every employee knows they are appreciated.
  • Manage the roll-out and adoption of HR programs for the APAC region.
  • Ensure local compliance of HR policies and procedures including labour law compliance.
  • Identify development needs and propose creative low-cost learning solutions.
  • Foster communication and information flow across the organisation working with multiple functions from engineering to sales.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regional HR Business Partner & TA Lead position brings a wealth of experience in talent acquisition and will have had regional exposure within their previous role or roles. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of the APAC recruitment landscape, and you will have a track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies. Your ability to influence at the Director-level, coupled with your effective communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to build strong relationships across the organisation. Your proficiency in interpreting HR metrics will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic decisions.

In order to be successful you must also meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within a multinational organisation.
  • Mandarin language fluency is required as you will liaise with stakeholders across the region
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the APAC recruitment landscape
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to interpret HR metrics and identify problems and patterns.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
