An exciting Senior HR Manager job has just become available at one of the most respected multinational conglomerates in the engineering industry. This role reports to the HR Manager APAC and is a role for a HR professional who is an expert in their field.
About the Senior HR Manager Role:
In this Senior HR Manager role, you will provide coaching to managers and employees; and be key to the execution of valuable services of the HR function in partnership with business and HRBP; and supported by HRSSC/COE to drive employee engagement, talent management, organisation effectiveness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with HRBPs/business leaders in driving delivery of the people strategy and agenda to enable the business's growth aspirations
- Flexibly deploy to lead or actively participate in country/region/global business/HR projects from design through implementation including developing appropriate change management plans
- Manage country/market organisation and individual matters with high complexity and external reputation risks
- Lead investigation activities, advise, and implement on remediation actions where applicable
- Lead/participate in HR projects to drive continuous improvement and relevancy
- Handle implementation of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring events as needed
- Partner with in country HR lead, HR Shared Services and COE to support the standardisation and continuous process improvement effort
- Identify workforce and hiring plans vital to drive recruitment - develop strategies for recruiting top-calibre employees; in partnership with talent acquisition
- Partner with leaders to assess current talent and develop long-term talent strategies that establish required competencies and skill levels which ultimately improves the performance of the organisation
- Stay up-to-date on local employment laws and company policies. Share 'need to know' information (outside in) with managers/HR colleagues to help improve effectiveness of HR activities and to avoid critical issues
- Provide work direction and coach junior HR generalists within the organisation as needed
To succeed in this Senior HR Manager role, you will need to have proven stakeholder management skills, be agile and open to trying new ideas and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or possesses HR professional certifications with relevant experience
- Minimum of eight years of HR generalist related experience, with organisation effectiveness/development and talent management exposure is preferred
- Able to work with ambiguity and agile to adapt to a volatile environment
- Able to diagnose and analyse huge data to conceptualise problem statements and collaborate with/influence relevant stakeholders for effective resolution
- High level of achievement and positive energy to navigate challenges/road block to deliver tasks assigned
- Resourceful in researching policies and best practices to resolve HR issues/challenges
- A team player with curiosity to learn, who willingly shares knowledge with others to enable high performance as a team
