HR Executive - 1 Year Contract role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Executive to join a leading global organisation based in Singapore. This is a supportive HR role, where your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth transaction of day-to-day operations within the office. You'll have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, handling tasks such as on-boarding, off-boarding, payroll processing, and recruitment.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Executive, you will play an integral role in the smooth running of the Singapore office.

  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day operations and administration of HR functions such as on-boarding, off-boarding, maintaining employee records.
  • Perform monthly payroll processing for Singapore, including GL submission to Finance.
  • Liaise with payroll vendor for the preparation of IR8A/IR21 and necessary appendices for submission to IRAS for annual tax submission.
  • Ensure prompt submission of government-paid leave claim.
  • Provide administrative support for new joiners and leavers’ entry/exit administration.
  • Support employment/dependant passes application and renewal with proper documentation.
  • Post on job and school portals, selecting suitable resumes to send to Hiring Manager.
  • Manage recruitment of interns for various departments.
  • Provide necessary support for employee engagement related activities.
  • Prepare and draft employment letters for potential selected candidates.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Executive position will bring a wealth of relevant HR experience to the table.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience preferably in the engineering sector.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and understanding of HR best practices.
  • Possess good interpersonal and effective communication skill.
  • Pro-active personality and meticulous; able to handle data and ensure high level of accuracy for HR-related work.
  • Good written and spoken English, additional language will be an added advantage.
  • Good computer literacy skills with software like Microsoft and/or windows applications.
