Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Executive for a maternity cover contract role, starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to provide full spectrum HR support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the legal industry.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR Manager across all aspects of human resources. You will be entrusted with maintaining our HR database, ensuring accurate record-keeping and providing essential data for management reports. Your responsibilities will also include administering staff benefits and managing monthly payroll. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the recruitment process, from placing advertisements to conducting onboarding orientations. Your role will also encompass assisting with the development of HR procedures and policies as well as managing staff exits. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide comprehensive support to the HR Manager across all areas of human resources
- Maintain accurate records by entering data into the HR system and preparing management information reports
- Administer staff benefits, programs, insurance, and events
- Prepare and administer monthly payroll and payroll reports
- Participate in the recruitment process from advertisement placement to onboarding orientation
- Assist with the maintenance and development of human resource procedures and policies
- Manage staff exits including administration of termination and resignation letters
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Executive position brings along a tertiary qualification coupled with a professional certificate or Diploma in Human Resource Management. You should have at least two years of experience as an HR Generalist. Experience within the legal industry would be considered an advantage. A thorough understanding of local labour legislation is essential. You should possess excellent command over spoken and written English, coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills. The ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Strong administration skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office are also required.
