A prestigious luxury brand is seeking a Boutique Manager to oversee its flagship store in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to become the face of a renowned name in the world of fine timepieces, where your passion for delivering outstanding client experiences and your expertise in boutique management will be highly valued.

What you'll do:

As Boutique Manager, you will be entrusted with creating an inviting atmosphere where every detail speaks of elegance and care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around guiding your team towards delivering memorable experiences for each visitor while maintaining meticulous attention to operational details. You will foster a culture of collaboration by supporting your colleagues’ growth through coaching and sharing knowledge about luxury watchmaking. By nurturing meaningful relationships with clients—especially those who appreciate exclusivity—you will help build loyalty that extends beyond transactions. Your ability to manage inventory efficiently ensures that every product is presented flawlessly, while your partnership with Marketing brings exciting events to life within the boutique. Success in this role means consistently exceeding expectations in both service delivery and operational discipline.

  • Deliver an exceptional and personalised shopping experience to every client who enters the boutique, ensuring each interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to luxury and service.
  • Identify individual client needs through attentive listening and thoughtful conversation, recommending suitable products that align with their preferences and lifestyle.
  • Drive, monitor, and achieve ambitious sales targets by motivating the team to consistently perform at their best while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Champion clientelling and CRM excellence by building authentic long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and encouraging the team to do the same.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the boutique team through ongoing training sessions, regular feedback, and performance management initiatives.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels through effective manpower planning so that the boutique is always adequately manned to provide seamless service.
  • Oversee stock levels and assortment by supervising inventory checks, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and robust control measures.
  • Maintain impeccable presentation standards throughout the boutique by ensuring all displays are aligned with brand guidelines and all storage areas remain organised and tidy.
  • Ensure accurate completion and filing of all sales, stock, and customer service documentation to support smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on boutique events and activations that elevate the client experience and reinforce brand presence.

What you bring:

The ideal Boutique Manager brings a wealth of experience from luxury retail environments where attention to detail, warmth in service delivery, and respect for tradition are deeply valued. Your proven track record includes leading teams with kindness—motivating others through encouragement rather than pressure—and fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone feels supported. You understand how important it is to listen carefully to clients’ needs before offering tailored recommendations that reflect both their tastes and the brand’s heritage. Your familiarity with fine watches enables you to speak knowledgeably about craftsmanship while remaining approachable. In addition to technical know-how, you excel at building trust-based relationships—both internally among colleagues and externally with loyal clientele—by being dependable, considerate, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing what makes each piece special. Your organisational skills ensure smooth operations behind the scenes so that front-of-house interactions remain seamless.

  • You have previous supervisory or managerial experience within a retail environment where you have guided teams towards shared goals while upholding high standards of etiquette.
  • Your background includes hands-on exposure to luxury retail settings where delivering exceptional client experiences was paramount.
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills that enable you to connect authentically with clients from diverse backgrounds, especially high-net-worth individuals.
  • Your understanding of watch products—particularly within the luxury segment—allows you to share insights confidently with both clients and colleagues.
  • You are adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
  • Your approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and sensitivity when resolving issues or addressing client concerns.
  • You bring proven experience in driving sales performance through collaborative teamwork rather than individual competition.
  • You are comfortable using CRM systems or similar tools for tracking client interactions and supporting relationship-building efforts.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing teams on event planning or activations is considered an advantage.
