Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead all stores in Singapore, ensuring the brand direction is well executed and KPIs are exceeded in terms of sales, P&L, client services, CRM and operations.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be leading all stores in Singapore to exceed sales targets while maintaining the highest level of customer service. You will also be responsible for aligning the brand direction with market trends and industry dynamics. Your role will involve formulating business plans, analysing business trends, initiating action plans, and ensuring that the store team presents brand guidelines effectively. Additionally, you will actively participate in team management activities such as talent acquisition, development programs, coaching sessions, performance reviews, and succession planning.

  • Align brand direction, analyse market trend and industry dynamics to formulate retail direction and strategy.
  • Formulate business plan & KPI focus, analyse business trend, and initiate action plans.
  • Ensure store team well present brand guidelines and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Actively participate in team management including acquisition, talent development, motivation programs, coaching, performance review and succession plan.
  • Standardize, implement and optimize retail operation efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution and ensure adherence to brand policies, compliance, and control guidelines.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Retail Manager position brings a wealth of retail management experience from the FMCG or Retail industry. You have a proven track record of managing client experiences and CRM systems effectively. As a proactive individual who is self-driven and results-oriented, you thrive in fast-paced environments where your leadership skills can shine. Furthermore, your proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint enables you to perform tasks efficiently.

  • Minimum 5 years solid experience of retail management in FMCG and Retail industry.
  • Solid experience of client experiences and CRM management.
  • Proactive, self-driven and result oriented.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and Power Point.
