Head of Kindergarten

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Kindergarten to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds by implementing innovative curriculum and programmes, while also providing leadership and mentorship to teaching staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the school, maintaining ethical policies and practices, and fostering strong relationships with families. What you'll do:

As the Head of Kindergarten, your primary role will be:

• Ensure proper implementation of best practices through quality and innovative curriculum and programmes
• Provide support services to ensure smooth implementation of family partnerships and operational aspects of the centre
• Support the monitoring and ensuring of ethical policies and practices related to licensing and accreditation
• Generate monthly income through recruitment and retention of children enrolled in centre
• Carry out quality checks on staffing strength, class administration, school’s cleanliness, conditions of learning resources and materials
• Monitor and supervise totality in the quality of the programme
• Initiate and organize parents’ involvement activities in the centre
• Perform teaching duties when required

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Kindergarten position, you bring a wealth of experience from your time leading a kindergarten or similar educational institution.

• Proven experience in leading a kindergarten or similar educational institution
• Strong understanding of curriculum development for early childhood education
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with families and staff members
• Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with ethical policies related to licensing and accreditation
• Experience in managing school's assets and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability
• Ability to initiate parents’ involvement activities in the centre
