Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Leader to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned segments, manage sales and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the chance to showcase their expertise by proactively leading, developing, and coaching the function within a hybrid work model.

As a Commercial Leader, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales vision for the assigned area. You will build an effective marketing, sales and technical organization that meets efficiency targets. Your role includes ensuring achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. You will drive customer-focused collaboration while raising awareness towards market opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the commercial team in the domestic market, including product solutioning and sales.

  • Create, plan, and implement the marketing and sales vision, mission, and strategy
  • Build an effective, capable and high performing commercial organization
  • Ensure achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed
  • Drive customer focused collaboration, raising awareness towards market opportunities
  • Drive the commercial function in the domestic market, including driving technical and product value propositions
  • Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach

The ideal candidate for this Commercial Leader position brings a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent. They have at least 5 years of commercial leadership experience in large industrial organizations with direct management of large sales teams. Direct management of marketing and product teams would also be a huge plus. They demonstrate knowledge in designing and executing commercial plans and strategies. They are results-focused with strong problem-solving skills. They excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously under challenging market environments. They also bring excellent leadership skills with a focus on people development.

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of commercial leadership experience in large industrial organizations, preferably within the building management space
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the design and execution of commercial plans and strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Results-focused with ability to work well under challenging market environment
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills
