In this newly created Business Development Manager job, you will work closely with the Business Development Director on case presentations, market assessments and market intelligence reporting.

About the Business Development Manager Role:
Reporting to the VP for Partnerships and Business Development, you will conduct market assessments and identify key trends in the e-commerce sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Business Development Director to identify new business opportunities through market feasibility studies
• Conduct case analysis and market intelligence to drive joint partner programmes
• Work with product and partnerships team to identify key trends in the market
• Tap onto market opportunities through market analysis and data analysis
• Assist Business Development Director on pitches, demos and presentations

The successful Business Development Manager has strong corporate strategy experience.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Finance
• At least three years' experience in a corporate strategy/business analysis role with a management consulting firm
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills coupled with an analytical mind
• An independent player who communicates effectively

This is a newly created role and the firm has more than 1000 merchants on board presently.
