About the AVP Market Risk Manager Role:
In this role, you will oversee market risk governance processes and cover Singapore legal entities. You will also develop risk appetite and implement the market risk limit framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing key market changes in the emerging markets
• Implementing risk controls and governance framework and ensuring front office trading team are compliant
• Ensuring VAR limits, stress-testing results are thoroughly reviewed when submitted to MAS
• Promptly provide market risk reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Ad hoc projects assigned by senior management

To succeed in this AVP Market Risk Manager role, you must have at least five years' market risk analysis experience.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree – preferably related in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, etc.)
• Experience in market risk control frameworks and Macro products
• Strong experience with VAR and stress testing
• Experience with risk regulatory reporting and liasing with Singapore regulators
• Must have an analytical and quantitative mindset and background
• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
• System tools proficient: Python, Excel, VBA
