An exciting Enterprise Risk Manager three-year contract job has just become available at one of the most respected universities based in Singapore. This is a role that will be part of the strategic planning and coordination division as part of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team.
About the Enterprise Risk Manager Role: In this business critical role, you will support the AD to drive and implement the ERM framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the division to improve, update and implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework (including risk policies/guidelines/processes)
Work closely with clusters and divisions to ensure that the risk management process is integrated within planning and other critical processes
Collaborate with clusters and divisions to execute risk reviews, management and monitoring across the university at least annually
Support the division to develop and implement an effective risk assurance framework and to conduct regular risk mitigation and control verifications
Collate and report the risk heat maps to the board, senior management and where required
Support the division in the implementation of risk appetite including the review of risk tolerance and key risk indicators
Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions with risk champions and stakeholders
Provide risk review and advisory to clusters and divisions on specific projects/activities
Provide secretariat support to committees and meetings
To succeed in this Enterprise Risk Manager role, you will need to have relevant experience within the ERM space.
Key Requirements:
A tertiary education
At least five years’ relevant experience in risk, governance and compliance
Experience providing secretariat support to meetings and committees
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Confident with strong communication and presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and confident in engaging stakeholders of diverse profiles
Good team player
Experience working with senior management is an advantage
