An exciting VP Front Office Risk - Global Markets job has become available at a global banking firm. In this role, you will analyse and identify global market risks and P&L drivers, including stop loss management for traders.

About the VP Front Office Risk - Global Markets Role:
In this role, you will design and develop the credit risk management strategy through the analysis of diverse data. You will also further implement data-driven risk strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor market activity and review positions taken by traders across FX, rates and structured products
• Develop an understanding of the most significant risks and the factors driving performance including trading strategies and market flows
• Analyse risks using techniques such as VaR, Stress testing, etc. and produce appropriate reporting and recommendations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise daily risk monitoring and reporting process to senior management
• Review stop loss management for traders and working with them for any risk reductions required in line with the stop loss policy
• Assist with ad hoc projects together as a team

To succeed in this VP Front Office Risk (Capital Markets) role, you must have at least five years’ experience in risk analysis of capital markets and observing traders P&L. Two years of advising stop loss management experience is crucial in this role.

Key Requirements:

• University degree
• Minimum of five years’ market risk experience within a bank or financial institution
• Experience in analysing global market risks, analysis of traders P&L and working with traders
• Experience with stop loss management and advisory in capital markets
• Strong knowledge and understanding of derivatives products including FX/rates and structured products
• Technical knowledge of trading systems, financial market products, market risk, capital markets
• Self-starter and independent worker with strong analytical skills
