Product Innovation Strategist

This role offers the opportunity to engage with leading market participants, understand emerging forms of risk-related products and services, and contribute to the development of new product opportunities.

You will be instrumental in driving product innovation activities, including market research/testing, market discovery & sounding, evaluating financial impact of products to the firm and capturing voice of customer in development of product features.

What you'll do:

As a Product Innovation Strategist, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our client's product portfolio. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of innovative ideas, conducting comprehensive market research and feasibility studies. Your insights will guide the development of new solutions and augmentations to existing products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that business objectives are met while maintaining alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Support high-impact projects across product development, innovation, and operational efficiency.
• Manage pipeline of ideas and evaluate ideas, including conducting market sizing exercise and feasibility studies, and developing business cases.
• Develop market engagement plan, analyze market feedback, and produce recommendations for product/platform opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, market outreach, analysts, R&D to deliver business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Support communication and alignment across stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Conduct market or competitor analysis to inform product or project direction.
• Gather, define, and document business requirements for product features or operational enhancements.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Product Innovation Strategist role is a self-starter with a strong background in product innovation. You bring proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional project execution. Your ability to operate comfortably within a highly regulated credit ratings environment sets you apart. With effective communication skills in English and additional proficiency in Japanese, Korean or Chinese being an advantage, you are well-equipped to navigate diverse teams. Your expertise in product or project management frameworks further enhances your suitability for this role.
