About the Associate, Portfolio Operations (Private Equity) role: An excellent opportunity as a Portfolio Operations Associate has just become available at a leading investment firm, based in Singapore. In this international role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on new investment opportunities, modelling scenarios accounting for internal and external factors, and presenting your findings and models to various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Generating investment ideas based on fundamental research and deep knowledge of sector trends and business models
• Evaluating new investments for their risks and likely returns through detailed financial modelling and due diligence
• Preparing and presenting investment memos for the Investment Committee
• Performing Business/Financial analysis and evaluating business performance of portfolio companies. Would also be involved in the assessment of the competitive landscape and new business initiatives for portfolio companies
• Managing existing Indian and SEA portfolio companies

To succeed in this Portfolio Operations Associate role, you should have prior experience in business operation, financial analysis, and/or private equity. The right candidate will also be comfortable working with a diverse set of companies globally and communicating across different time zones and cultures. As extensive travelling to India will be required, prior relevant working experience in India is preferred.

Key requirements:

• Degree from a reputed educational institution
• 2-3 years of work experience in business operation, financial analysis, and/or private equity
• Prior investing experience with a proven track record will be an added advantage
• Proficient at generating precise and detailed management reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, displaying initiative and independence in managing their job roles
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
