What you'll do:

As a Client Service Associate based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients from around the world. Your day-to-day activities will involve responding thoughtfully to client queries via various communication channels while guiding them through the intricacies of electronic trading platforms. You will be instrumental in helping clients understand every aspect of their trading journey—from account funding to position transfers—ensuring they feel supported at every step. By collaborating with internal teams across different functions globally, you will help resolve complex issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of compliance. Your ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and contribute positively within a multicultural environment will be key factors in your success.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries through multiple channels such as email, ticketing systems, live chat, and phone calls, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and attention.
  • Educate clients on the use of proprietary trading platforms and administrative portals to empower them within a self-service and highly automated business model.
  • Guide clients through the entire trading cycle by providing clear explanations of processes such as funding accounts, transferring positions, understanding corporate actions, margin calculations, and statement reconciliation.
  • Troubleshoot client issues with empathy and diligence; take ownership of problems by following up thoroughly and escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, IT Support, Cashiering, Clearing, and other service groups around the globe to resolve complex client matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market offerings and product developments to provide accurate information tailored to each client's needs.

  • Adapt quickly to new technologies or changes in procedures as the company continues to expand its product suite and enhance its technological capabilities.

What you bring:

To excel as a Client Service Associate in this organisation’s APAC hub, you will bring proven experience from previous roles within global finance—ideally supporting retail or institutional clients across multiple asset classes. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to build rapport easily with individuals from diverse backgrounds while your attention to detail ensures accuracy in every transaction. A genuine passion for helping others succeed financially will drive your commitment to delivering outstanding service even when faced with complex queries or tight deadlines. Your adaptability will shine as you embrace new technologies or regulatory changes that impact daily operations. Above all else, your collaborative spirit will foster positive relationships both internally among colleagues and externally with valued clients.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Stocks, ETFs, Options, FX, Funds, Futures, Fixed Income and related financial instruments gained through direct experience or academic study.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous due to having to communicate in Mandarin with clients based in Greater China and nearby regions.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required; candidates with additional certifications or licensing (such as CMFAS 1A/2A/CM-EIP/CM-SIP) are preferred or must be willing to obtain them shortly after joining.
  • At least two years’ experience working at a global financial institution is ideal; however, recent graduates who can demonstrate strong core competencies may also be considered.
  • Prior exposure to client services roles within finance—especially those involving middle or back office operations, compliance functions, electronic trading environments or fund administration—is highly valued.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-evolving setting where responsiveness is crucial.
  • Analytical mindset paired with critical-thinking abilities that enable you to troubleshoot effectively and propose practical solutions for clients’ challenges.
  • Willingness to collaborate across departments internationally while maintaining sensitivity towards cultural differences among colleagues and clients alike.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards by following all relevant regulations governing client interactions within the financial sector.
  • Eagerness to learn new systems quickly as well as share insights with peers during training sessions or process improvement discussions.
