Our client is seeking a Trade Support Analyst to join their dynamic team in Singapore.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide operational support for Agency Trading desks, ensuring accurate booking of transactions and timely resolution of trade exceptions. The successful candidate will be responsible for trades allocation and confirmations processing for institutional clients trading in Asia ex-Japan equity markets. This is a fast-paced role that requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Provide operational support for Agency Trading desks
  • Ensure accurate booking of transactions and manage trade exceptions
  • Build and maintain relationships with trading desks, clients, and other Operation teams

What you'll do:

As a Trade Support Analyst, your primary role will be providing operational support to Agency Trading desks. You will be responsible for trades allocation and confirmations processing for institutional clients trading in Asia ex-Japan equity markets. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring transactions are booked accurately, investigating and resolving all trade exceptions. You will manage queries within the agreed SLAs, identify, report and escalate issues in a timely manner. Your commitment to adhering to control procedures will help identify risk gaps and ensure controls are implemented to close those gaps. A key part of your role will also involve building and maintaining relationships with the trading desks, clients and other Operation teams.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Trade Support Analyst position brings relevant investment banking experience within Operations, preferably in the cash equities domain. You have a good understanding of the life cycle of a trade and related interactions between internal stakeholders. Your quantitative, analytical skills enable you to work under pressure while adhering to tight deadlines. As a strong team player, you can work well independently and collaboratively with peers and stakeholders. Your attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables efficiently sets you apart. You are control-focused with a good understanding of risk and the impact of errors. Lastly, your confident communication skills have been honed through experience in communicating with external parties.

  • Relevant investment banking experience within Operations, preferably in the cash equities domain
