What you'll do:
As a Crypto Operations Specialist, you will be at the heart of our client's trading operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing and reconciling crypto trades, onboarding new exchanges, brokers, and custodians, and providing essential support to the trading desk. You will also play a crucial role in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions. Furthermore, you will manage cash transfers for SMA clients while using your programming skills to automate tasks and optimise workflows.
- Processing and reconciling crypto trades and asset movements
- Onboarding new exchanges, brokers and custodians, including completing KYC requirements
- Providing support to the trading desk as required
- Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and proposing innovative solutions
- Cash transfer management for SMA clients
- Using programming tools to automate tasks and optimise workflows
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Crypto Operations Specialist role brings a wealth of experience from the financial services sector. With a degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field, you have spent 1-2 years honing your skills in operations roles such as trade capture, trade settlement or reconciliation. Your exposure to or interest in the crypto asset space sets you apart. You have demonstrated experience working with external service providers and have been instrumental in identifying operational inefficiencies and driving process improvements. Your strong organisational skills are matched by excellent communication abilities. Lastly, your programming experience (VBA or similar) will be put to good use as you automate tasks and optimise workflows.
- Degree educated (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field)
- 1–2 years of operations experience in a financial services firm
- Experience working with external service providers (e.g., onboarding exchanges or brokers, completing KYC requirements)
- Exposure to or interest in the crypto asset space
- Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and supporting process improvements
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Some programming experience (e.g., VBA or similar)
