We are seeking a Real Estate Investment Operations Analyst to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience in real estate or investment operations, who thrives in a detail-oriented, back-office role. Over the next 2 years, you will be focused on hands-on support with financial performance reporting, asset management data, and operational processes—rather than front-line investment management or deal-making.

This position involves a significant amount of time sitting behind a desk, working with accounts, spreadsheets, legal agreements, standardized presentations, data templates, and other key investment documentation. You will be tasked with ensuring accuracy in reporting, cleaning up data, and regularly presenting and discussing this information internally with team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update recurring investment performance reports and asset-level data.
  • Review, clean, and reconcile large datasets to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in managing legal agreements, data templates, and standardized reporting formats.
  • Support asset management teams with ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and investment performance reviews.
  • Present findings, updates, and analysis to internal stakeholders in clear and concise formats.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to enhance data reporting and workflow processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports, dashboards, and data extracts.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in real estate, investment operations, or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel; comfortable working with large data sets, formulas, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with investment performance metrics and financial models.
  • Comfortable working extensively with accounts, spreadsheets, legal agreements, and data templates.
  • Ability to effectively present and discuss complex data with internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with a focus on accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progress toward CFA designation or a strong interest in pursuing it.
  • Experience with asset management software or databases.
  • Exposure to real estate investment processes, reporting frameworks, or portfolio analytics.
  • Experience with financial modelling is a plus but not required.

  • Diligent, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable in a back-office, operations-focused role that emphasizes data handling over deal-making.
  • Motivated to build expertise in real estate investment operations over the next 2 years.
  • Strong communication skills to present and explain data internally to teams across the organization.
  • Able to manage recurring tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision, while knowing when to ask for help.
