This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a crucial function within the Asia Operations team, responsible for processing cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with colleagues locally and abroad, participate in Asia Operations projects, and proactively drive process enhancements and improvements.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Cash Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role within the Asia Operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include processing cash remittances, FX/MM, and FX/MM derivatives. You will also manage secondary nostro accounts. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you provide clients with technical expertise and solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues both locally and abroad, contributing your knowledge and skills to various Asia Operations projects. Your proactive nature will shine as you drive process enhancements and improvements.

  • Processing and controlling processes within the Cash function
  • Ensuring efficient and productive delivery of services to clients
  • Providing clients with technical expertise and solutions in a comprehensive, timely, and accurate manner
  • Processing of FX/MM and its derivative products
  • Managing secondary nostro accounts and cash remittances
  • Working closely with colleagues locally and abroad
  • Participating in Asia Operations projects
  • Proactively driving and implementing process enhancement and improvements
  • Training new colleagues, where required

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Cash Operations Associate role brings a wealth of experience in banking transactions & settlements processing. With at least 4-5 years under your belt, you are familiar with financial products such as Remittances, FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives. Your knowledge extends to market infrastructures, regulations, operational risks related to trade processing, settlement of these products, as well as SWIFT message types. A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Banking/Finance is required for this role. Experience in Private Banking would be advantageous.

  • Bachelor degree or professional qualification in Banking/Finance
  • 4-5 years of banking transactions & settlements processing experience
  • Knowledge/expertise in ABF and TRF/PTRF or FXXMM Derivatives product is preferable
  • Experience in Private Banking is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial products (Remittances, FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives)
  • Knowledge about SWIFT messages types
  • Good knowledge and practice of Office suite. Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus
