What you'll do:

As a Loans Operations Analyst, your role will be pivotal in managing the full spectrum of credit operations within the organisation. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of executing comprehensive credit operations processes from underwriting to documentation and monitoring. Your expertise will also extend to managing various loan operations activities. Collaborating with internal stakeholders will form a significant part of your role as you work towards ensuring timely processing of credit and loans transactions. Monitoring credit exposures and identifying potential risks will also fall under your purview. Your commitment to compliance will be crucial in adhering to regulatory requirements related to credit and loans operations. Furthermore, your ability to drive process improvements will contribute significantly towards enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Execute end-to-end credit operations processes including underwriting, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Manage loan operations activities such as loan booking, disbursement, repayment processing, fee collection and collateral management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including relationship managers, risk management, compliance, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of credit and loans transactions.
  • Monitor credit exposures, loan portfolios, and trade finance transactions to identify potential risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures related to credit and loans operations.
  • Provide coverage and support to other team members where necessary.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in credit and loans operations.
  • Handle governance related activities such as start of day and end of day checking, monitoring and reporting.

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Credit Operations Analyst role, you bring a wealth of experience in banking operations, specifically in Credit and Loans Operations. Your strong understanding of credit risk management principles, loan documentation and processes will be key to your success in this role. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your ability to plan, prioritize work efficiently, manage time effectively, and pay exceptional attention to detail will be highly valued. Your proficiency in using banking systems and Microsoft Office suite will be beneficial, as will your knowledge in LIQ system. Your excellent analytical, problem-solving skills will be crucial in this fast-paced environment. A proven track record of process improvement and project management initiatives will further underscore your suitability for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years’ working experience in banking operations with a focus on Credit and Loans Operations.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management principles, loan documentation and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize work efficiently, manage time effectively, and pay exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using banking systems and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge in LIQ system is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and project management initiatives.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of OFAC/Anti-boycott/Anti-Money Laundering/High Risks Transaction.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in credit and loans operations.
