An exciting Loan Operations, Associate/AVP job has just become available at a reputable financial services firm based in Singapore. This role reports directly to the Director of Loan Operations, who is based in Singapore.

About the Loan Operations, Associate/AVP Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the loan operation functions from primary loan originations to secondary loan sell-down, managing documents and projects with strong risk and control mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the subject-matter expert in providing professional guidance to front office and respective stakeholders to facilitate funding requirement with full awareness of the risks
• Ensure respective controls are in place at all times
• Liaise with front office/legal and stakeholders to perform document due diligence to ensure loan and collateral documents are accurate and in place
• Review draft primary documentation for operational terms and credit conditions imposed
• Oversee secondary loans trading
• Manage collateral involving valuation, system capture and monitor oversight
• Manage the inventory of all documents with controls, including safe counts and checks
• Manage all regulatory reporting and management reporting
• Govern all vendors activities, including documentation to ensure controls are in place
• Be involved in and manage project work

To succeed in this Loan Operations, Associate/AVP role, you will be expected to have extensive experiences managing the end-to-end of loan trading operations, including drafting and negotiating of contracts. The right candidate should also possess confidence and strong communications as this role requires oversight competencies to overseas outsourced team and various other stakeholders, both upper and mid-level management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
• At least three to eight years of experience within the loan operations and collateral management department, in relation to processing, servicing and payments
• Extensive experience in loan IQ system
• Knowledge of credit documentation and having the ability to review and comment on documents from an operational perspective
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting including the top borrowing group reporting
• Knowledge of primary origination and secondary loan trading front-to-back processes
• Ability to write well with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good spoken and communication skills
• Strong risk and control mindset
