An exciting Fund Administration Associate job has just become available at a global venture capital firm based in Singapore. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Partner, who is based in Singapore.

About the Fund Administration Associate Role:
You will be part of the team based in Singapore, to handle all enquiries relating to the fund accounting, subscription and redemption, other general inquiries for the investors. The role also includes coordinating with external fund administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send fund performance reports and other reports for investors
• Handle KYC and onboarding of new investors in coordination with external compliance consulting firm
• Manage cash flow and expenses of the fund on a daily basis, in coordination with operations team
• Coordinate payment instructions with the operations team
• Maintain accurate records of all fund transactions
• Ensure compliance with AML procedures in coordination with compliance consulting firm
• Prepare and communicate both NAV and account statements to investors
• Assist the finalisation and filing of annual audited financial statements
• Review of audit documents and financial statements for any discrepancies
• Prepare and review other regulatory filings, as necessary
• Support and assist in fund application process
• Resolve fund administrative issues and handling of enquiries from respective regulators
• Manage ad hoc tasks

To succeed in this Fund Administration Associate role, you will have extensive experience managing fund administrations within a small team, as this allows you to have an end-to-end understanding of the process. Ideally, you will also have experience managing stakeholders, both internal and external, to manage both queries and relationships.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in venture capital or similar setting firms such as private equity, hedge funds, etc. (MAS registered funds)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
