Securities Settlements Analyst

An exciting Securities Settlements Analyst job has just become available at an up and coming Financial institutions based in Singapore. This is a role for an analytical thinker who possesses a passion for Securities operations.

In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for handling trade operations such as trade processing, clearing, and settlements for equities products, and providing guidance and strategic input. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects aimed at systems and product enhancement and UAT.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor the team to ensure trades are settled accurately and in a timely manner
• Carry out transaction processing (securities, derivatives, corporate actions, etc.)
• Daily reconciliation of securities positions and holdings
• Identify trade breaks and perform reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies
• Review operations processes, recommending any potential automation/digitalisation
• Participate in the strategic development and implementation of new systems, products, and services

To succeed in this Securities related role, you should be organised and work well with minimal supervision. You will also require strong analytical skills. Relevant experience in a middle and back office environment will be desirable.

Key requirements:

• Degree holder with minimum 4 years working experience in Securities related field
• Good understanding of securities products, trading, and depository (including corporate action) processes
• Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, VBA
