About the KYC Wealth, Associate Role:
In this role, you will be part of the Know Your Customer (KYC) Controls team, which has a regional exposure covering the controls against money laundering and terrorist financing for different entities in the region. The requirements for compliance are conferred by regulations and guidelines in different countries. The team primarily works on wealth clients and the role can expand to institutional clients in future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the on-boarding process or periodic review for wealth management clients, counterparties and other parties subject to rolling review
• Perform hands on tasks related to KYC and documents - update system with relevant details, perform due diligence, validate and upload documents
• Ensure client information and documents are validated and updated correctly and timely in the systems for seamless feed to other internal systems and reporting (internal, regulatory, etc.)
• Ensure client classification is applied in accordance with the prevailing rules and regulations in corresponding jurisdictions
• Continuously work with other stakeholders such as compliance, legal, sales, business management on completing of KYC and client information updates
• Identify system and perform process enhancement focusing on controls and efficiency and work with the IT teams to implement

To succeed in this KYC Wealth, Associate role, you will have extensive experiences in the full end-to-end cycle of client management and KYC/AML processing. The scope of clienteles should also be of individual or corporates within the APAC region.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in the business management field
• At least five years of wealth KYC/AML operations, with client management and on-boarding experiences
• Language proficiency in both English and Chinese is mandatory to perform the name screening process
• Well versed with the KYC requirements as suggested by MAS and other major Asia regulators
• Ability to understand different risk types associated with clients (individuals, private companies, corporations, etc.)
• Strong skills in documentation validation
• Flexible and be quick to adopt change in policies, systems and requirements
• Readiness to work on ad hoc tasks assigned by managers
• Intermediate knowledge on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to develop PowerBI reports/Alteryx is a plus
• Candidates requiring work visa in Singapore need not apply
