What you'll do:
As a Client Services Associate based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role within the global Client Operations team. Your daily activities will involve coordinating complex investment execution tasks for Asia-based clients while supporting senior members of the Investment Team. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication between multiple stakeholders—including custodians, fund managers, trustees, banks, and advisors—while upholding rigorous compliance standards.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of various investment products such as hedge funds, exchange traded funds, UCITS funds, and private equity vehicles with particular attention to redemption requirements including notice periods, gates, fees, and lock-up periods.
- Liaise proactively with custodians, trustees, fund administrators, banks, brokers, financial advisors, tax advisors, company directors, and executive assistants to ensure all investment transactions are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate internal capital calls by ensuring clients receive timely notifications for required payments or instructions for payment arrangements from custodian accounts.
- Obtain necessary authorisations for investment recommendations and ensure all orders are implemented promptly while maintaining comprehensive supporting documentation.
- Monitor client cash and securities accounts by managing relationships with custodians and third parties to ensure accurate account management at all times.
- Track execution of client transactions through to completion using in-house systems to guarantee precise record-keeping and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with the preparation for client meetings by gathering relevant information and responding to queries in support of senior investment professionals.
- Collect valuation data for clients and enter key information into internal systems; prepare quarterly or monthly statements for review by client heads.
- Review annual tax reports as needed and verify billing calculations for accuracy while addressing any client queries related to these processes.
- Ensure all account opening documents are completed correctly; maintain strict adherence to KYC/AML regulations as well as local data protection laws.
