What you'll do:

As Head of Fund Operations Digital Assets based in Singapore, you will play a central role in shaping the operational framework that underpins this ambitious investment fund. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing compliance processes aligned with international standards; managing complex relationships with external service providers; supervising trade lifecycle activities; monitoring financial reporting accuracy; leading cross-functional teams; drafting SOPs; handling investor onboarding; maintaining CRM databases; preparing detailed reports; and staying ahead of regulatory changes.

  • Oversee all compliance activities by ensuring adherence to BVI FSC regulatory requirements such as AML, KYC, internal controls, and annual filings while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Own the KYC/AML due diligence process for both service providers and investors, managing relationships with custodians, banks, brokers, fund administrators, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational onboarding readiness by coordinating entity formation, bank account openings, and seamless integration of new service providers into the fund’s ecosystem.
  • Supervise the entire trade lifecycle process in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks to guarantee accuracy and efficiency at every stage.
  • Monitor NAV calculations, expense accruals, transaction reconciliations, and data integrity across all financial reporting functions to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Lead finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and HR general administration teams by providing clear direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Draft, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to valuation methodologies and business continuity management to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Manage the complete investor lifecycle including onboarding (KYC/AML), subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, reporting obligations, and responding promptly to miscellaneous inquiries.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM database for investor records ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while supporting effective communication strategies.
  • Prepare timely internal and external reports as well as comprehensive fund risk metrics for senior management review.

What you bring:

To excel as Head of Fund Operations Digital Assets you will bring substantial experience from middle office or fund operations roles within either traditional financial services or emerging crypto sectors. Your background should include hands-on involvement with complex operational processes spanning compliance checks (AML/KYC), trade lifecycle management (across various asset classes), financial reporting accuracy (NAV calculations/expense accruals), stakeholder engagement (service provider/investor relations), SOP development/enforcement (risk mitigation/internal efficiency), cross-team leadership (finance/accounting/tax/HR), CRM database maintenance (investor records/compliance), report preparation (internal/external/fund risk metrics), regulatory monitoring/adaptation (industry trends/BVI FSC requirements).

  • 4-8 years’ experience in middle office or fund operations roles within financial services or crypto industries where you have demonstrated hands-on management capabilities.
  • Proven track record navigating cross-functional operational requirements involving investor lifecycles as well as institutional regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with futures, equities, options, bonds, swaps, cryptocurrencies or other financial derivatives/products gained through direct exposure or transferable skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities enabling you to build trust-based relationships with service providers while responding thoughtfully to ad-hoc requests from senior management.
  • Experience overseeing finance-related functions such as accounting, tax planning/filing obligations alongside HR general administration duties within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to draft/update/enforce SOPs aimed at improving internal efficiency whilst mitigating risk exposures across diverse operational areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds while promoting a supportive team culture focused on shared success.
  • Capacity for rapid learning—especially regarding digital asset ecosystems—demonstrating adaptability when faced with new technologies or evolving market trends.
  • Nice to have: Experience selecting/managing high-tier service providers including fund administrators/custodians/prime brokers within institutional settings.
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in Python/VBA/SQL for automating workflows or enhancing data analysis/reporting capabilities.
