What you'll do:
As a Performance Analyst, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will calculate and analyse portfolio results, attribution, and analytics to support both external clients and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be invaluable as you serve as a subject matter expert for various industry applications. You will also have the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Deliver timely and accurate results measurement and analysis for a suite of mutual funds and institutional accounts.
- Calculate and analyse portfolio results, attribution, and analytics in support of external clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for one or more internal and external industry applications.
- Play a critical role in leading enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Drive the evolution of analytical systems such as Aladdin, Alteryx, FactSet.
- Work closely with Sales, Client Servicing, Marketing, Publishing, Business Management and Product & Investment Services.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Performance Analyst position brings 4-6 years of experience in Fixed Income or Equity. You are adept at calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results. Your advanced MS Excel skills allow you to draw insights and develop creative exhibits. You have experience with various results-related systems like FactSet Portfolio Analysis or Bloomberg. Your good working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools sets you apart from others. Above all else, your excellent problem-solving skills make you an asset to any team.
* 4-6 years of experience with Fixed Income and/or Equity.
* Experience with calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results.
* Advanced MS Excel Skills (e.g., functions, charting, pivot tables).
* Experience in results-related systems (FactSet Portfolio Analysis, Bloomberg, Rimes, Morningstar Direct, BISAM B-One, Aladdin).
* Good working knowledge of analyzing data via SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx and/or Power BI).
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Keen focus on developing best practices.
