About the Operations Analyst/Manager Role:
In this role, you will be part of the operations team, supporting the after-trade capture and enrichment, affirmation, confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, life cycle management, corporate actions and data maintenance to name many of the tasks covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operationally for equity, fixed income, OTC, FX and futures
• Provide support to the investment teams by ensuring the accurate processing of all trade activity from trade date to settlement date
• Communicate and issue resolution with trading counterparties
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline current procedures and processes
• Productively liaise on daily basis across multiple stakeholders: accounting, fund administrator, prime broker, counterparties, technology teams, portfolio managers and trading desk
• Manage trade capture, trade affirmation and confirmation, settlement break resolution and resolving reconciliation differences
• Work effectively with developer teams to test and implement new workflow enhancements to the current environment

To succeed in this Operations Analyst/Manager role, you will need to have at least three years of experiences within the buy-side performing operational support for equity, fixed income, OTC, FX and listed products. You will also have the experience in risk and control implications supporting the financial products.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in a finance field
• At least three to seven years of relevant industry experience, with in-depth knowledge in one or more products (preferably middle office processing within the buy-side setting)
• Deep understanding of the control and risk implications of supporting financial products
• Experience in the use of pivot tables and basic macros is required, VBA is advantageous
• A self-starter, motivated, flexible and well-organised with a keen eye for attention to detail
• Keen and comfortable to learn and carry out a process, whilst at the same time proactively question, change and possibly remove inefficient process
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work as part of a team, but also have the confidence to work autonomously when required
