What you'll do:
As a Valuations Controller based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility for overseeing independent price verification processes across a diverse array of sophisticated financial products.

What you bring:
Your extensive background in investment banking or brokerage particularly within trading desks, risk functions or product control will equip you with the practical knowledge needed to excel as a Valuations Controller.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience within investment banking or brokerage environments with substantial exposure to trading, risk management, product control/valuation or quantitative roles is essential for success in this position.
- An advanced degree such as a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics or another related quantitative discipline is required to underpin your technical expertise.
- At least 10 years’ hands-on experience managing the entire lifecycle of structured note issuance including embedded derivatives like FX options or swaps is critical for this role.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python for data analysis/scripting purposes or C++ for performance-critical valuation tasks is necessary for driving automation initiatives.
- Exceptional quantitative skills combined with strong analytical thinking enable you to architect complex valuation models that stand up to rigorous scrutiny from both internal auditors and external regulators.
- Demonstrated organisational abilities allow you to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Experience presenting complex financial concepts clearly to senior leaders as well as non-technical audiences ensures your insights have maximum impact across the business.
