About the Finance Manager Role:
This person will be reporting to the CEO that is based in Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and implement group accounting policy
• Initiate and implement internal control processes
• Ensure the efficient operation of financial and accounting functions, processes, tools, and control systems to maintain proper functionality
• Guarantee the timely and accurate preparation of entity and consolidated financial reports, adhering to reporting standards
• Supervise cash flow planning to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs
• Develop and compile financial budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, accounting standards, and tax regulations
• Provide support in preparing materials for board and management meetings
• Coordinate with external auditors, corporate secretarial, and legal representatives to meet statutory requirements and ensure compliance
• Manage monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
• Manage claims process for reimbursement
• Track MOM regulations and update management
• Maintain proper financial controls and documentation for the audit trail

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you need to be well versed in the fintech and blockchain space.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/ACCA/CPA or equivalent
• Audit experience (preferably internal and external audit) and strong accounting background
• At least seven to eight years of experience in audit and/or finance functions
• Self-starter with an aptitude for building a finance function
• Able to execute matters with minimal supervision and guidance
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment, while giving support to the team and providing direction and guidance
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, fast learner and committed to meeting timelines
