Save job

An international fiduciary group is hiring a Senior Trust Manager (Private Clients) for its largest Asia-Pacific office in Singapore. You’ll manage a portfolio of high-profile international and UHNW clients, working on complex cross-border structures. The firm offers a supportive environment, professional development, and exposure to sophisticated trust and fiduciary matters.

What you'll do:

As Senior Trust Manager (Private Clients) you will play an integral role in delivering bespoke fiduciary solutions to an elite clientele.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for an exclusive portfolio of international trusts and companies, ensuring that all aspects of client service are delivered with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Oversee the administration of trust and corporate structures for VIP clients, including ultra-high-net-worth families, providing expert guidance on asset protection, succession planning, and tax-efficient solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Senior Officers, Officers, and Junior Officers, fostering their growth through regular feedback, training opportunities, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by implementing robust procedures for new business onboarding, including due diligence checks and accurate completion of application forms.
  • Draft or coordinate the drafting of essential trust documentation such as Trust Deeds and Letters of Wishes, maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout every process.
  • Maintain up-to-date records within the internal Client Management Information System database for all client entities under your care.
  • Manage financial aspects of client relationships by overseeing invoicing processes, monitoring fee collection, and ensuring timely resolution of any outstanding matters.
  • Collaborate closely with executives across regional offices as well as external advisers, banks, professional firms, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless service.
  • Provide director or resident manager services for Singapore-based client entities when required by company leadership.

What you bring:

Your proven track record in senior-level trust administration roles equips you with deep technical expertise as well as practical insight into managing sophisticated client portfolios.

  • More than 8 years’ experience in trust administration gained within a trustee company, private bank trust department or professional accounting firm’s trust services division is essential for this role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trust law and best practices in trust administration is required so you can provide authoritative advice to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Familiarity with corporate secretarial functions and administration services will enable you to manage multi-jurisdictional structures efficiently.
  • An understanding of private banking or investment management client service processes would be advantageous as it supports holistic wealth planning for clients.
  • Exceptional organisational skills are necessary so you can handle multiple priorities promptly without compromising accuracy or quality.
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensures that all documentation meets legal standards while safeguarding client interests at every stage.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills allow you to interact confidently with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • A high level of personal integrity is expected given the sensitive nature of client affairs entrusted to your care.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP membership or credentials in banking, accounting or law are strongly preferred.
