About the Assistant General Manager – KYC Corporate Banking role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for Japanese & Non-Japanese accounts of Front Office Know-Your-Customers (KYC) operations. You will proactively engage with key stakeholders on frontline KYC review processes and identify areas for enhancements to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes in the department.
- Providing timely guidance to Relationship Managers and team members in regards to KYC in compliant with the regulatory standards; significant operational matters to create positive clients’ onboarding and remediating periodic KYC in accordance with the latest regulatory requirements
- Providing oversight on department’s day-to-day operations
- Being accountable for the learning and development of employees
To succeed in this Assistant General Manager - KYC Corporate Banking role, you will need to have excellent stakeholder management abilities and possess strong communication skills to work effectively with the internal and external stakeholders. You will possess the ability to work under pressure, have strong business partnering skills and communication skills.
- At least eight years' experience with the KYC review process
- Ability to communicate in Japanese language to liaise with related parties
- Demonstrated leadership experience and proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities to meet critical deadlines
- Well-organised and meticulous
- Work well independently and collaboratively
