Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in risk management, compliance assessment, and governance systems specificially within the digital payment token industry. You will be reporting to the Head of Compliance in Singapore.

What you'll do:

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's risks.

• Ensuring regulatory requirements in relation to the Major Payment Institutions
• Provide day-to-day management and support for all local regulatory interactions, examinations and ad-hoc requests
• Carrying out Know your business and transaction monitoring
• Partnering with stakeholders for adherence with compliance systems, supporting regulatory change management initiatives, and providing guidance on developing controls for critical business processes

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Officer position brings a wealth of experience in legal or compliance roles within the payment industry.

• Possess strong knowledge of Singapore’s AML/CFT legislation, Payment and Digital Payment Token (“DPT”) regulations
• Familiarity with MASNet, SONAR, blockchain analytic, KYC solutions and transaction monitoring solutions will be highly beneficial
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders coupled with your strong problem-solving skills make you an excellent fit for this role
