Head of Compliance (Crypto)

They are currently seeking a Head of Compliance with a focus on Crypto. This role is integral to their operations, requiring a professional who can maintain the highest standards of quality while executing tasks at an unparalleled pace.

As the Head of Compliance (Crypto), your role will be pivotal in maintaining our client's reputation and operational integrity in the fast-paced world of fintech.

• Acts as the primary liaison with Singapore regulators, including MAS, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
• Your expertise in KYC/AML/CFT processes will be crucial in aligning operations with MAS Payment Services Act regulations.
• As the MLRO, you will implement stringent AML/CFT controls, reporting directly to MAS, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Filing and managing regulatory licenses, implementing a comprehensive compliance monitoring programme, conducting annual audits, and providing regular regulatory updates to internal stakeholders.
• Your role will extend to assisting the Data Protection Officer and providing advisory services to senior management on all matters of compliance.

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Compliance (Crypto) position, you bring a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal and compliance solutions at startup speed with at least 10 years of experiences.

• Experience within the fintech or blockchain industries has given you a deep understanding of the dynamic challenges and opportunities these sectors present.
• Possess exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Your innovative thinking and passion for leveraging technology to solve traditional legal and operational challenges will be highly valued.
• Your knowledge of rules and regulations relating to crypto asset and financial crimes, including AML/CFT, is essential for this role.
